These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Jeremy Schaffel ("we", "us", "our"), the provider of the resume optimization service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
The Service uses AI to help users optimize resumes against job descriptions. We provide a free tier (limited number of optimizations) and a paid "Pro" subscription with unlimited optimizations.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
You are responsible for the prompts you submit, the resume content you upload, and how you use the output. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete; you should review and verify all output before relying on it. You must have the rights to any content you submit. The Service is not a substitute for professional career, legal, or financial advice.
We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, design, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your subscription plan.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. and its affiliates ("Stripe"). Stripe acts as Merchant of Record for our orders, handling payment processing, billing, tax calculation and remittance, chargebacks, refunds, and transaction-level customer support. Payments, billing, tax, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Stripe's Consumer Terms of Service.
The Pro plan is billed at $3.99 per month and renews automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal accessible from your Account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes to the Terms will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jeremy Schaffel is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
